The short version: the service is free and provided as it is, your files never reach us, and checking the result is up to you.
What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use ezpzfile.com (the "service"). Using the service means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
What the service is
The service is a set of web tools for PDF, image and document files. Every conversion runs inside your browser, and your files are not transmitted to our servers.
- Every feature is free. There is no paid tier and no usage cap.
- There are no accounts. Nothing to register, nothing to log into.
- Results carry no watermark.
Your responsibilities
- Only put files into the service that you have the right to handle.
- Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or in ways that infringe the rights of others.
- Do not interfere with normal operation of the service, for example through automated bulk requests or probing for vulnerabilities.
- Whether and how you use a result is your decision and your responsibility.
About the results
Conversion results depend on your browser and on the file itself. We do not guarantee any particular outcome or level of quality.
For anything important, keep the original file and open the result to confirm it is intact before you rely on it. Each tool page states what carries over and what does not.
Files and privacy
The service does not collect your files. They are opened inside the browser and disappear when the tab closes. What we do collect, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.
Advertising
The service is funded by advertising. Some advertising is supplied by third parties, and sites reached through an advert are not operated by us. We are not responsible for their content or their policies.
Intellectual property
The interface, the wording, the articles and the logo belong to the operator of the service. Copyright and licence notices for the open source components used by the service are published separately.
Files you put into the service, and the results you get out of it, remain entirely yours. We never see them or store them, and we claim no rights over them.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is. We make no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, of correctness, or of uninterrupted availability. Some features may not work depending on your browser and device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the service or from being unable to use it, including data loss, faulty output and delays to your work. Please weigh this against the fact that the service is free.
Changes and discontinuation
Tools may be added or removed, the interface may change, and the service may be discontinued. We will give notice where we can, but changes may happen without it. Since no user data is stored on the service, a shutdown takes nothing of yours with it.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the service changes. A revised version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
